Me: What's wrong Chloe C: I'm tired of breathing Me: oh yeah? C: I'm going to stop breathing... Me: ok (few moments pass) C: (gasp), Why do we have to breathe?! Me: to live C: I wish we didn't have to breathe so much, breathing is making me tired. 6-8-11
Mom asks, "Hey Chloe. If Dad and me had a wrestling match, who would win?" Chloe confidently responds, "ME!" 5-3-11
Chloe comes up to a boy (about 6 or 7 years old) and in a conversational tone asks, "So, are YOU the best wrestler in your family too?" Boy, very confused, says "huh?" --that's right, our girl is pretty sure of her abilities-- 4-27-11
{apparently Chloe doesn't approve of mommy-daddy conversations...} "Dad! Stop talkin' mom's head into the trash". 4-2-11
{Have you heard of the magic "pasta pot"?} Me: "If you had a magic pasta pot, what food would you have it make all the time"? Chloe: "Brussel Sprouts!!! Brussel Sprouts every day and that's all it would make"! 3-8-11
"When at church, and I'm in my teaching class, teaching the gospel, I know that doing what's right is a good idea" (yes!) ~Feb 9th '11

Dad: Look Chloe, your tadpole has grown legs! Chloe: It's a daddy frog?!
Chloe: Daddy I love you, but I wish you were a dad that couldn't go to school.
~Chloe: Mom if you drink all that agua, I'm going to saw you in two halves! Mom: Where on earth do you get this stuff??? Chloe: Ahh, ARIZONA!
~Chloe: Mom, ask me if I heard that? Mom: Chloe, did you hear that? Chloe: YES! AND I NEVER WANT TO HEAR IT AGAIN! March 2nd '10
~Chloe: I will wear that dress when it gets bigger. Mom: Clothes don't grow bigger, only alive things grow. Chloe: hmmm... I know clothes that will get bigger.. Mom: yeah? what? Chloe: ME! Dec 17th '09

~Chloe was teasing Dad again and was trying to bite and lick his hand. Dad avoiding her and laughing says,~ "Chloe what are you trying to do?" Chloe replies, "I'm trying to laugh your head off Dad!" Dec 16th '09
~What's for dinner?~ Dad: "What do you want for dinner Chloe"? Chloe: "Soup" Dad: What kind of soup, the beef soup in the fridge"? Chloe: "no, CHOCOLATE SOUP"! Nov 9th '09

Oh Allie! Thanks for posting pictures. You have reminded me of the value of visuals, so I WILL post some of our Autumn pictures TODAY!
I love the new pictures, my girls LOVED seeing their cousins, and Rainee looks so yummy!
I also love the family picture update, and "Miss Chloe's" dance picture, AND her HILARIOUS new quotes. That girl cracks me up - breathing making her tired? HA ha ha ha ha!
You are beautiful! And so are your kids! We seriously miss you guys SO much out here in Good 'Ol Iowa! I saw someone from behind at church a few weeks ago and was reminded for a brief instant of you! Hope that you are being able to enjoy this year, and hope that Ted is doing well with his rotations! We will be so thrilled to get to see you in May for GRADUATION!!! :D
